Where did 24 leave off?

At the end of Season 7 of 24...

Jonas Hodges and Alan Wilson's plot to use bioweapons against the U.S. was thwarted.
Tony Almeida finally found the man responsible for Michelle's death, but was denied his revenge and arrested.
President Taylor uncovered the conspiracy in her administration, which included her own daughter.
Jack Bauer was succumbing to the effects of the bioweapon, and Kim agreed to undergo a stem cell procedure that might save him.

Who's who in Season 8?

CTU has been reactivated in New York City...

The new CTU division is staffed by:

senior field agent Cole Ortiz

systems analyst Arlo Glass

Meanwhile, in the White House...

Allison Taylor is still President.

Ethan Kanin is now Secretary of State, and Rob Weiss is the new Chief of Staff.

Omar Hassan, the President of Kamistan, is coming to the U.S. for a peace summit.

Returning heroes (and villains)...

Jack Bauer is back – this time in New York.

Also returning are Jack's stalwart colleague Chloe O'Brian and his new ally (and love interest?) from Season 7, ex-FBI agent Renee Walker.

Disgraced president and Season 5 villain Charles Logan will be back as well!

Ok, it can be limited to one hour and maybe Fridays could be an off day but Mon - Thursday are musts. Now the only important hour and day in my life is Monday 8pm. Fox lets get this fixed.
