Plot:

Following the events of 24 Redemption, Jack Bauer (Kiefer Sutherland) now stands trial in front of a congressional committee for his past actions. CTU has been disbanded, and the setting has moved from Los Angeles to our nation's capital in Washington D.C. The stakes are raised as new events emerge at the begining of Day 7 that will change everything we know about 24. Meanwhile the day gets even more interesting for Jack Bauer when Tony Almeida (Carlos Bernard) a former colleague who we last saw dying in the arms of Jack Bauer in Season 5 turns up alive and well. With a national security crisis emerging, it is up to newly elected President Allison Taylor (Cherry Jones) alongside her First Husband Henry Taylor (Colm Feore), and Cheif of Staff Ethan Kanin (Bob Gunton) to control things on their end with the help of a FBI Task force that includes agents Reneee Walker (Annie Wersching), Janis Gold (Janeane Garofalo), Larry Moss (Jeffrey Nordling), and Sean Hillinger (Rhys Coiro). Although CTU is no longer around, Chloe O'Brian (Mary Lynn Rajskub) and Bill Buchannan (James Morrison) also return for another intense and shocking season.

Jack: "Senator, Abraham Hadadd had targeted a bus carrying 45 people, 10 of which were children. I stopped that attack from happening. Don't expect me to regret the decisions that I have made because sir, the truth is, I don't."

What should happen this season: Something NEW and Original. I definitely like the fact that CTU is gone and the show will be in Washington D.C. This will definitely give the show a new and interesting feel that I look forward to.

What should happen this season: More insight into characters. A lot of new characters are starting to be introduced without any explanation of their lives, then we don't know anything about them.

What should happen this season: Don't poison Jack! Keep Tony on.... at this point only 3 characters remain from Season 1. It would be nice if Jack still had some friends from the beginning. Every season he suffers a tremendous loss - don't kill of Chloe or Tony. Maybe a bit of time with his daughter....

What should happen this season: ILO criminal prosecution, Jack should opt to go back into the Army and lead a crack team of men and women in world-wide search for Osama Bin Laden. Let's at least bring this guy to justice in the world of 24.

Kim Bauer is coming back!

I just saw that Kim Bauer (Elisha Cuthbert) is coming back this season also. Cool. Though I have to admit that Kim always irritated me. Her whining always seemed to get Jack in trouble somhow!
