Each season there's been a new director of CTU--got a favorite? Who, do you think was the best head of CTU and why? Do you find this valuable?

Karren Hayes!
Because she was able to help Jack in season 5.

I loved Bill Buchanan the best. He really had such a calm and smooth attitude in the face of some terrible events! And who knew he could fly a helicopter? LOL! Do you find this valuable?

None other than Jack himself. In the words of George Mason, "Hey, I'm not in love with the guy, but he gets results". Had Division not tied his hands and his co-workers questioned his tactics so often, perhaps CTU would still be around. Tough hard decisions are what the job demands, and if you can't make them with cold precision needed (though at great personal cost to yourself; that's why you shouldn't have a family and do this job), then push pencils for the DEA or something; you can't do this job. Karen Hayes was the Homeland Security Director in Day 5. In Day 6, she was the National Security Advisor to President Wayne Palmer. She temporarily took over operations at CTA, but she was never Director.

Right on that and Jack was Director in Season One??? (it's been a while) but that's it. It will be an interesting season, to say the least, with no CTU around... I am curious about how that will play out! Do you find this valuable?

The change will be good (Day 6 was good, but not great). What I'm tripping on is how cool Tony Almeida looks as the Day 7 antagonist. Dressed in black and the goatee? TIIIIGGHHHTTT!!! Do you find this valuable?

Yeah, I think that Jack was ok, but I'm really a Tony fan--so glad that he's supposed to come back for the next season! Do you find this valuable?

I actually think Jack's the best character, but I do like Tony a lot. It's gonna be a trip how it'll open up with Jack having to answer to a House committee for his actions (shoulda known that would come back to bite him.). I love that response about him not regretting his actions. As many times as he kept L.A. from going boom. Do you find this valuable?
