I can hardly believe that the producers of this show want to screw it all up and put that idiot, fruitcake janeane garofalo on . She is such a nut and deserves a place on the show behind the scenes-cleaning the toilets. What is wrong with the producers? Are they smoking too much crack or what?

Although the producers are responsible for who appears in 24..... they are not responsible for the left wing "Global warming" commercials. Tony Almeida and Chloe both have put their two-penneth in on "global warming" etc..... and I have to wonder how much do they really know or understand about it. As most of us are probably aware, most actors are a bunch of paid off mindless idiots. They are told how to act and what to say. I know that this page is about Garofalo..... but Fox using 24 as a platform to further their stance on "global warming" pees me off. I DO NOT WANT TO HEAR ABOUT ANY OF THAT STUFF... AND I DO NOT WANT TO CONTINUALLY HAVE GAY CRAP SHOVED IN FRONT OF MY FACE, when I am lookin at a TV program for entertainment.... If you reach producers of 24... Her comments on MSNBC were more than offensive, they were ignorant, hateful, and insulting. I am not a US Citizen, I barely know about Garofalo's statement, and barely understand it. And from that point of view I can see that you hate the activist but condemn the actress. Seriously and impartially, she is not Chloe, shes not even close to Chloe's ankles, but, if you don't have (like me) any idea about her real life statements or activities, you just simply ignore her. She is not a great character but she is also not every thing posted in this thread, she just pass (and I think it is clear that she is not replacement for Chloe in the script). So I suggest to keep the political argue in the political forums and try to avoid this subject in the 24 forum. Just a suggestion.PS: Anyway if she by any means uses her appearance in the show to reinforce their political messages, she deserves every single comment on this page. Pedro,... If you barely know of Garofalos statement and barely understand it..... let me explain. She started out as a comedienne (of sorts) foul mouthed to some extent, (hate that). Her political stand on issues are very clear, during some of her comedy routines. It is evident to me that she hates this country. And she hates some of the people in this country, ie.... republican/ conservatives,ie the protestors on TEA Bag day, which was April 15 this year. We in this country have the right to protest in a calm decent manner. Her statements calling us radical and racist was totally uncalled for. There are many groups that protest various issues in this country, but the republican/conservative protestors are the most peaceful and cleanest. We do not have to go a round tattoing our bodies to get our message out either. Racism can also be said for all the black people that voted for Obama.... they only voted for him because he was Black. I am not a racist..... and I resent her calling me one. I would vote any day for a black man for President, providing he is what I feel this country needs. We do not need someone like Obama.... Why was it bad for Bush to leave a debt, but it is Ok for Obama to leave an even bigger one.... we do not need more government interference in our lives.... which is happening right under our noses, and I sure don't appreciate him going to foreign countries apologizing for this country. The press is in love with him....... "Did he bow, or did he not bow" Clearly he did, and the press's report that he didn't just proves their lust for him. WHAT DOES THIS HAVE TO DO WITH GAROFALO YOU MAY ASK? She loves Obama.... and as I said most actors do and say (playing anyone else but themselves)as they are told in movies & TV programs. And I think it is because they are not capable of thinking for themselves. They live in a make believe world for most of their lives......She is this kind of person.

I agree with all of this and my wife and I are avid movie fans and 24 fans in particular but we find it more and more difficult watching these actors/actresses after they open their foul mouths and support everything anti American, anti traditional marriage, anti capitalism, anti wealth, anti PROFIT, anti religion (Christian only of course), anti military/national defense and basically anything that made this country what it is. For God sake they are entertainers, why do they all think they are our betters and need to teach and inform the adoring mindless fans? I want to watch 24 as an escape from the driveling MSNBC, CNN, ABC, CBS, NBC Obama cheerleading support system with thrills going up and down their legs as THE ONE speaks and 24 saddles us with this arrogant idiot, Ms Garofalo. By the way, have you guys noticed that this is not just Hollywood, the same crap that emits from Garofalo's, Baldwin, Oberman, etc. mouth, word for word, I hear from my sister, my neighbors and my co-workers. It is like a daily mind synch thing or some kind of pod people activity going on here where when presented with facts they start screaming and shaking uncontrollably, scary stuff.

Well said.... bear2c.... I have another thought too....... Since some AIG execs etc have been forced to give their bonuses back. (for some thats all they earnt all year) and a cap amount in earnings is in the works, not passed as yet.... (why should they be able to make those millions of $$$... ooh they are so greedy), In the same context why shouldn't movie actors etc. come under the same cap ruling as Execs. In fact maybe government itself should come under that cap. After all the government is spending our $$$.... the Execs are not...Maybe we should all be more selective in what we watch any more. Boycott... MSNBC, CNN all news programs and all TV programs that depict political and environmental issues... stop reading newspapers... their readership is way down as it is. George Clooney, Sean Penn, Susan Sarandon and hubby(what radical nuts they are). Sean Penn should go and live in those 3rd world countries that he raves about. Most actors are so hypocritical and they sure don't deserve our adoration.

KILL HER OFF ON THE SHOW, I DONT THINK ANYONE IS SAYING TO KILL HER (THE REAL PERSON) ONLY HER CHARACTER ON THE SHOW. And I agree, lets STOP the global warming stupid commercials which now has everyone notice they are calling Climate Change, because weather has not been cooperating with them lately.
